Given that I detest the fatigue mechanic introduced with WOTC, I can safely say that whilst it continues to work, I will use it in all my future campaigns. That's a separate thing, you 'assign' a soldier there to recover negative conditions, similar to bonding/resetting skills in the training centre, or ranking up rookies in the GTS. Go to your 'My Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\Config' folder and delete all. To fix this, follow these steps (credit to immhotep for finding the solution). I have already used it in a completed campaign and I am now using it on my current campaign, and I can assure you that it works (at the time of writing). After the patch you might have trouble getting this mod (and some others) to run. If the mission is especially long, such as the one to kill the Assassin. But, I've noticed that a lot of my troops are tired after a single mission even after being fully rested. I've got most of the beam plasma/beam weapons built, I've got a few soldiers to Colonel rank, and I've managed to take down the Assassin and two Rulers. There is an excellent mod available in the workshop called "No Stinking Fatigue". In my WotC campaign, I've managed to get to the early late-game. ![]() To answer the OP's question: yes, there is a way around it. ![]()
